Technology

How LamportPay is built

The tools and services behind the platform. For payout and liquidity partners, see Partners & integrations.

Application

Language

TypeScript

Live

The whole platform — website, app and server — is written in strictly typed TypeScript.

Web framework

React & TanStack Start

Live

Server-rendered React pages with type-safe routing and server functions.

Design system

Tailwind CSS

Live

One shared design system for the website, the app and the admin console.

Data & infrastructure

Database

SQL (Postgres)

Live

Our database is designed and written in SQL by our own team. Payment records, accounts and the admin audit log live in Postgres with row-level security, and the audit log is append-only.

Server runtime

Node.js

Live

Server-side logic — payment orchestration, webhooks, reconciliation and admin tooling — runs on Node.js.

Hosting

Cloud hosting

Live

The website and app are hosted on managed cloud infrastructure today, with a planned move to AWS as we scale.

Future infrastructure

AWS

Planned

Our roadmap includes migrating the platform's infrastructure to AWS.

Transactional email

Resend

Planned

Payment receipts and account emails will be sent through Resend.

How we build

Core development

In-house engineering team

Live

LamportPay's core platform — the payment engine, database design, security controls and integrations — is designed and built from scratch by our own developers.

Productivity & automation

AI-assisted tooling

Live

Our team uses AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Lovable to speed up coding, testing, automation and marketing. They assist our developers — the architecture, financial logic and security decisions are made and reviewed by the team.

Security & quality

Partner events

Svix-signed webhooks

Live

Every payout status update from Stables is signature-checked before it is processed.

Automated checks

GitHub Actions CI

Live

Type checks, linting, 500+ tests, secret scans and dependency audits on every change.

Security & data handling

Customer funds are never held by LamportPay — every payment moves from the customer's own wallet to a single-use deposit address issued for that transfer. Accounts, payment records and the admin audit log live in Postgres with row-level security, and the audit log cannot be edited or deleted.

For the full list of what is live, simulated, in progress or planned, see Partners & integrations, the compliance page, and the cookie policy. Found a security issue? Write to us at hello@lamportpay.com.
